I can see both sides of this argument and there are pros and cons to each. I agree that there is a problem at hand and that something needs to get done about controlling illegal immigration. I do not know though if this law is going to make this situation any better because it does go against the constitution and does promote racial profiling; which is not what this country stands for. The state needs to really look at the situation at hand and really figure out something to do that can keep illegal immigration under control without discriminating against someone due to their race. I watched the Larry King Live you tube video and listened to a debate on the topic at hand and both made fairly reasonable arguments, but after listening to it I would have to say that I do think that the argument going against the law, saying that it is unconstitutional, was much stronger.

  1. Yes, you are completely right, i do not know how anyone could say it better.i think its good that they passed this law tho because it is actually bring the issue of immigration to the surface so that we can finally create a solution for it.

  2. Yeah, how can a state control illegal immigration and at the same time, not discriminating other races? It is tough.

  3. I agree I think the topic really does ned to be solved but it definitly can't be in a civil manner because people judge others and think they're being discriminatory.

  4. I think its good that you can look at both sides and see where they are both coming from. I also understand they say there is a problem with immigration, but it isn't really fair for them to go around targeting one race.

  5. I think you made great points and it's good to understand both sides of the argument and see the pros and cons to both. True, it does go against the constitution and is border line racial profiling. There needs to be a middle point with this problem instead of the severe of a law.
